L. BLOOMQUIST dies in sleep

Laurel O. BLOOMQUIST, 65, 602 W. Jefferson, died in her sleep early this morning. She was born April 10, 1914 at Stockport and lived most her life in this community.

Funeral services are pending at Behner Funeral Home.

Mrs. BLOOMQUIST rites

Laurel O. BLOOMQUIST, 65, died early Thursday morning in her sleep at her home, 602 W. Jefferson.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the First Lutheran Church with Rev. R. Keith Lingwall officiating. Burial will be in the Wright Cemetery southeast of Fairfield. Memorials will be accepted according to your choice.

Mrs. BLOOMQUIST was born April 10, 1914 in Stockport, the daughter of George F. and Betha E. STANDLEY WATSON. She married Bert B. BLOOMQUIST on July 30, 1936 in Fairfield. She spent most of her life in Jefferson County and was a member of the First Lutheran church.

Surviving besides her husband are: one son, Louie BLOOMQUIST, Fairfield; four grandchildren and two sisters: Ruth RUNYON, Hillsboro, and Loretha HISEL, Fairfield. She was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister.
