Keith Albert BYERLY, 54, of Ainsworth, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, in rural Ainsworth following a sudden illness.
A celebration of life service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Victory Christian Center in Columbus Junction with the Rev. Michael McAfee officiating.
Visitation will begin noon Friday at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington, Iowa. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Interment will take place at the Oregon Township Cemetery in Ainsworth.
Memorials may be made to the education fund for Mr. BYERLY's son, Mitchell. Online condolences may be made at www.jonesfh.com.
Mr. BYERLY was born May 18, 1958 in Washington, the son of Dale Albert and Ramona MERLE BYERLY. He married Cheryl ELLIOTT Aug. 29, 1992 in Washington.
Mr. BYERLY graduated from Highland High School in 1977.
He was a life resident of the Ainsworth Community. He owned and operated Keith's Parts and Service and farmed. He also worked for Winfield Agri Builders for seven years.
He attended Victory Christian Center in Columbus Junction.
He enjoyed hunting and the time he spent farming.
He was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Survivors include his wife; mother; two daughters, Jennifer WHITE and husband Tyrone of Cedar Rapids, and Stephanie ASHCRAFT and husband Lawrence of Springfield, Miss.; one son, Mitchell BYERLY of Ainsworth; two sisters, Karen CROSSETT of Washington, and Marsha THOMPSON of Yarmouth; one brother, Alan BYERLY of Washington; and five grandchidlren.
He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents; and granddaughter, Tatum ASHCRAFT.
