The Fairfield Ledger, Jan.2, 1895,p.3, col.2. TOWN AND COUNTRY: Hardin Butler, who died at Marceline MO Dec. 16th was a resident of Jefferson county many years ago and was a delegate to the first state constitutional convention. He removed to MO prior to 1860. Mr. Butler still has relatives residing in this county. He was 86 years of age.
