Roy BUSH Dies In Illinois

Roy BUSH, longtime resident of Fairfield, died at 9:30 a.m. today at the Four Seasons Nursing Center at Aurora, Ill.

The body is being returned to the Raymond Funeral Home where last rites are pending.

BUSH had been a resident of the nursing center for the past two weeks. His wife is also a resident there.

BUSH Rites On Monday

Services will be Monday for Roy BUSH,, 83, native of Jefferson County who died Thursday morning.

The services will be at 1 p.m. Jan. 3 at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Dorman officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

BUSH died Thursday morning at the Four Seasons Nursing Home in Aurora, Ill., where he had been a patient for the past two weeks.

Roy BUSH was born Oct. 8, 1893, in Jefferson County, the son of Uriah and Etna MENEELEY BUSH. He was a lifetime resident of Jefferson County and resided at 308 W. Grimes for the past 51 years.

He was employed at the Louden Machinery Co. for many years before his retirement in 1958.

His marriage to Hazel M. STONE took place Dec. 11, 1916, in Fairfield. She survives and is a resident at the Nursing home in Aurora.

In addition to his widow, BUSH is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Vallie MITCHELL, Aurora; one granddaughter; and a sister, Mrs. Mary LINN, Fairfield. He was preceded in death by one brother.
