Charles "Charlie" J. Hahn, 38, of Washington, Iowa, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2003, at 612 Lincoln St. in Ainsworth.

The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church in Washington, with the Rev. Mark Young officiating. Interment will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington.

Visitation will begin after noon Friday at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with family visitation from 2-4 p.m. and 7-8 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Mr. Hahns childrens education fund.

Mr. Hahn was born Jan. 10, 1965, in Washington, the son of Gerald J. and Martha Ann Kennedy Hahn. He married Shelli Peiffer June 2, 1990, in Washington.

Mr. Hahn was a lifelong resident of Washington. He graduated from Washington High School and Lincoln Technical Mechanical School in Des Moines. He owned and operated Charlie's Snap-On Tool Service.

His pastimes included watersports, motorcycle races, truck pulling, hunting, fishing and camping.

He was a member of United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife and children, Levi Joseph and Ballie Ann Hahn, all of Ainsworth; his mother of Washington; and one sister, Denise Chalupa of Washington.

He was preceded in death by his father in 2002.
