Joseph Emanuel Freshour, 68, of Donnellson Health Center, died at 6 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003, at Fort Madison Community Hospital.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Troy Cemetery in Troy, with the Rev. Barb Krueger officiating.

No visitation will be held. Hofbauer Funeral Home in Donnellson is in charge of arrangements.

A memorial has been established.

Mr. Freshour was born May 5, 1935, in Ottumwa, the son of William and Eva Brewer Freshour.

Mr. Freshour was a farmer.

Survivors include three sisters, Vera McCabe of Antiock, Tenn., Dena Richardson of Holly Springs, Miss., and Gayle Patterson of Salem; and one brother, Jack Freshour of Ottumwa.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
