Nancy L. JONES

Nancy L. JONES, 65, of Riverside, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at her home in Riverside.

Visitation for Nancy will be on Friday, October 19, from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Riverside. Inurnment will be in Riverside Public Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials for Nancy may be directed to Iowa City Hospice. Online condolences for the JONES family may be sent to www.lewisfuneralhomes.com.

Nancy Lou GINGERICH was born on February 5, 1947, in Iowa City, Iowa the daughter of Emmet and Hazel (REYNOLDS) GINGERICH. She married Dan JONES on June 12, 1965 in Fairfield, Iowa.

During her life, Nancy worked for Dave Seydel Auto, US Cellular, General Pest Control, and Adams Door.

She enjoyed racing horses in her youth, camping, boating, knitting, puzzles, and most of all she dearly loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Nancy will be deeply missed by her husband, Dan JONES of Riverside; daughters, Rae Ann HOSIER and husband, David, of West Branch, Fae Lyn JONES and husband, Kyle, of Riverside; grandchildren, Karisa, Jack, Geoff, and Emily STREB; great-grandchild Hunter HAMER and his father Charlie HAMER of Nichols, and one sister, Caroleanne BLACK of Richland, Iowa.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law Marvin BLACK, and nephew Randy BLACK.
