Billy B. BROBSTON, 90, of New London, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012 at his home.
Arrangements are pending at Behner Funeral Home & Crematory in Fairfield.

Billy Bert BROBSTON, 90, of New London, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at his home.
A funeral will be at noon Saturday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Parker officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Birmingham.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 10:45 a.m. to noon Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to New London Fire and Rescue. Cards and memorials can be sent to 402 W. Jackson St., New London 52645.
Mr. BROBSTON was born July 28, 1922 in Birmingham, the son of Iliff and Grace TWEEDY BROBSTON. He married Betty Nell WALTON Aug. 4, 1941, in Lancaster, Mo.
Mr. BROBSTON was a farmer for 70 years.
He served in World War II with the United States Army. He was severely wounded in battle while serving in the European Theatre.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Farm Bureau, both of Fairfield.
Survivors include four children, Gary Lee BROBSTON of Whitehall, Pa., David Edward BROBSTON of Knoxville, Billy Bert BROBSTON Jr. of Frankton, Ind., and Phillip Dee BROBSTON of New London; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one daughter, Nancy Sue SALSBURY.
