“James Elmer Martin, born almost 28 years ago. Married Miss Ellen Dearman Jan. 1 1921. She died Sept 28 1924. Mr. Martin was son of Mrs. Loss Gingles of Richland. Besides his mother he leaves two sisters, Mrs. Lucinda Keosling of Brighton, and Mrs. Flossie Snap of Ottumwa; one brother, Lindon of Richland; a half-brother, Dave Martin of Cortez, Colo.; a half-sister, Edith Gingles of Richland. Funeral services at the home of his mother Wed. afternoon at 2 P.M. and burial McDowell Chapel; Rev. Pike officiating.”
