PLEASANT PLAIN. “Henry John Weitzel, born at Cause Daver, Ohio, Mar. 1 1846, moved from there to Wisconsin when five years old, came to Iowa Nov 2 1867 and resided near Baker P.O. in Jefferson County and spent the remainder of the time here with the exception o five years in Washington County. He was married to Laura C. Hicks on Mar. 2, 1875. Three children: Burdetta, who lives with them, and two who died in infancy. He passed away Apr 5 1903 age 57 years 2 months and 4 days. Interment at McDowell Chapel.”
