"Mrs. C. J. (Iva L.) Schafer, 67, died at the O. L. Rice home 9 miles north of the city this morning, where she had made her home the past nine years. McDowell Cemetery. Survived by two sons, Fred of Hillsboro, N.D., and Dale of Memphis, Mo.; one daughter, Mrs. Louis Razan of Metz, Mo., and two sisters, Mrs. Thomas Alston of Fairfield and Mrs. Charles George of Hueneme, Calif. Husband Charles J. Schafer preceded her in death May 22 1930."
