McMULLEN Rites Set

Mrs. Merle L. McMULLEN, 62, 408 North D, died at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Jefferson County Hospital.

Funeral service will be held at first Lutheran Church on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in charge of the Rev. Keith Lingwall.

Visitation will be at Behner Funeral Home Tuesday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

After Wednesday's service in Fairfield, the body will be taken to Parrott-Wood Funeral Home in Waterloo for last rites and burial.

Mrs. McMULLEN was born April 11, 1915, at Independence, the daughter of Hans C. and Rosa HETKOTH OLSON. On June 9, 1952 she married Fred L. McMULLEN. She had lived in the Fairfield Community since 1961.

She is survived by her widower, three brothers and one sister: Dale OLSON of Waterloo, Don OLSON of LaPorte City, Wayne OLSON of New Hartford, Ia., and Dorothy LUTRELL of Waterloo. She was preceded in death by one sister.
