Lewis COOLEY dies

Lewis W. COOLEY, 83, formerly of Fairfield, died Tuesday in Mesa, Ariz., where he and his wife, Carol, have lived since 1970.

Services will be in Chapel of Prayer of the Church of the Redeemer in Mesa at 10 a.m.

Cooley retired and moved to Mesa after selling his insurance agency in Fairfield to Gamrath-Thoma and Associates, Inc., in 1969.

Cooley was the Jefferson County Republican Central Committee Chairman from 1965 to 1970 and was a delegate to the National Republican Convention in Florida in 1968. He also was a district committeman in Arizona.

Mrs. Cooley resides at 6117 E. Dodge Street, Mesa, Ariz. 85201.
