Mary FINNEY dies at 88

Mary C. FINNEY, 88, resident of Parkview Care Center, died at 2:05 p.m. Tuesday at the Jefferson County Hospital. She had been in failing health for some time.

Services will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Karl Holtkamp officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Prayers for a Christian Wake will be recited at the Raymond Funeral Home at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Mary C. Finney was born Nov. 16, 1891, in Shelbina, Mo. She was the daughter of John Thomas and Margaret DEMPSEY FINNEY.

She was employed at the Iowa State Bank as a bookkeeper for a number of years and was associated with the O'Neill Coal Co. in Fairfield until her retirement.

Miss FINNEY was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and TTT. She is survived by one niece.

She was preceded in death by two brothrs (sp: brothers) and one sister.
