Ronald GLAUS, 65, of Cantril, died Thursday evening, Sept. 20, 2012, at home.

Arrangements are being handled by Behner Funeral Home and Crematory.

Ronald Duane GLAUS

Ronald Duane GLAUS, 65, of Cantril, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012.

A private service will be held at a later date. Behner Funeral Home & Crematory is handling the arrangements. The remains have been cremated.

Memorials may be made to his family. Cards and memorials may be sent to Paulette GLAUS at P.O. Box 142, Cantril 52542.

Mr. GLAUS was born on Aug. 28, 1947, in Dubuque son of Leslie and Georgia STONE GLAUS. He married Paulete SLAUGHTER on April 5, 2012.

He served three years in Vietnam.

He was a laborer for the Laborers Local Union.

Survivors include his wife; three children, Lisa SIERRA, Jeanna VARGAS and Sara, all of Colorado; four step-children, Penny LETTS and DJ HAYNES of Fairfield, Stephanie STATLER of Burlington and Paul HOADLEY of Storm Lake; four siblings, Ken GLAUS, Kevin GLAUS and Mary Rae VINSON of Cedar Rapids, and Cheryle GRIFFIN of Anamosa; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Tom GLAUS.
