Death takes G. GOODWIN

Death came Wednesday to Grace Ellen GOODWIN, 87. She died shortly before midnight at the Jefferson County Hospital. Her death followed a lengthy illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Kincaid officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Grace Ellen GOODWIN was born June 26, 1894, at Canton, Ill. She was the daughter of Alexander and Delphena GREEN HAMILTON.

Her marriage took place Dec. 14, 1921, to Wilford "Friday" GOODWIN at Bloomfield. She had made her home in Fairfield for 66 years. The family home is at 206 E. Briggs. Mrs. GOODWIN was a member of the First Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband, four sons and a daughter: Robert Lee, Horseshoe Bend, Ark.; Kenneth Earl, Security, Colo.; Wilford "Bud", Howell, Mich.; Richard Hamilton, Mount Pleasant; and Carole Jeanne O'NEILL, Fairfield. Also 17 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
