Lucy COLE Dies At 82

PLEASANT PLAIN - Funeral arrangements for Lucy COLE, 82, who died today at her home, are pending at Gould Funeral Home in Brighton.

Miss COLE was born June 2, 1895 at Pleasant Plain, the daughter of Perry G. and Laura WILLIAMS COLE. She graduated from Pleasant Plain Academy and William Penn College in Oskaloosa. She spent most of her life in the Pleasant Plain area and taught school for several years.

Surviving are a brother, Clifford COLE of E. Pleasant Plain; two sisters, Alice SMITH of Fairfield and Maggie BRAINARD of Rockford, Ill. and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
