Amy C. RICHARDSON, 35 of Des Moines, formerly of Washington, Iowa, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012.
A celebration of life is at 2 p.m. Monday at Beatty Funeral Home in Washington, Iowa. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Monday until service at the funeral home.
The body has been cremated.
A memorial fund has been established for the family.
Ms. RICHARDSON was born May 20, 1977, in Iowa City the daughter of Duane and Evie LILLIE RICHARDSON.
She graduated from Washington High School.
She became a registered nurse in 2010 and was employed at the Fleur Heights Center for Wellness and Rehab in Des Moines for the past four years.
She was a Harley Davidson (sic - Harley-Davidson) enthusiast and enjoyed Native American art and folklore.
She loved being outdoors, her pets and spending time with her children and family.
Survivors include her significant other, Mike TROGDON of Des Moines; three children, Zac, Zander and Braxton; three step-children, Dakota, Devin and Hunter; her mother, Evie RICHARDSON of Washington; her father, Duane RICHARDSON of Hedrick,; one brother, Kevin RICHARDSON of Iowa City; paternal grandmother, Peggy HAGANS of Brighton; and maternal grandmother, Ruth LILLIE of Washington, Iowa.
