Ronald "Ron" HEALD

Ronald "Ron" HEALD, 58, of Centerville, died Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines.

Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Saturday with family present beginning at 5 p.m. at Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Mr. HEALD was born July 26, 1954, in Fairfield, the son of Robert and Bea COPELIN HEALD. He married Nancy ERVIN Sept. 17, 1994, in Packwood.

He graduated from Packwood High School in Packwood.

He was a truck driver for many years, driving for Warner's Dickey Trucking, Fadiga Trucking and most recently, Flywheel in Centerville.

He was a member of the ABBTA Motorcycle Club.

He was a member of the Christian Church in Packwood and attended Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church in Centerville.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy HEALD of Centerville; two daughters, Sunshine HEALD of Centerville and Emily COX and spouse Scott of Fairfield; one son, Rick HEALD of Corwith; one stepson, J.C. ROCK and spouse Angel of Agency; one step-daughter, Roxanne BOER of Laurens; two brothers, Richard HEALD of Packwood and Tom HEALD of Arkansas; three grandchildren; and eight step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
