Alexander Julian Cowhig GRACE, 13, of Fairfield died Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, in Canada after being diagnosed with brain cancer in March.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Barhydt Chapel on the Maharshi University of Management campus.
He was born Jan. 3, 1987, in Vancouver, B.C., the son of Edward Nigel and Catherine Ann GRACE.
He was a straight "A" student and played tennis and golf. He was a member of the Fairfield Ballet and he was involved with Boy Scout Troop 108.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Catherine Ann GRACE and John MORTENSEN of Fairfield; his father and stepmother, Edward Nigel and Jacqueline GRACE in San Jose, Calif.; grandparents, Edward and and Lavinia GRACE; one brother, Christopher James Cowhig GRACE; and one sister, Sophie of San Jose.
