Thursday, December 30, 1976Former Batavia Resident Dies
Ralph HIDY, 81, Lansing, Mich., died Wednesday night in a nursing home there. The son of Charles and Maude DeGOOD HIDY, he was born in the Batavia area where he lived a large portion of his life.
Surviving are his wife, the former Iva WEBB of Batavia, now living with one surviving son, Bruce, in Lansing; four grandchildren; a half-sister, Mrs. George HARDEN of Fairfield and a half-brother, Robert HIDY of Booneville, Mo.
Funeral services are pending in Lansing.
