WOMAN FOUND DEAD IN BED

Mrs. Addy M. PARSONS was found dead in bed at her home this morning and Coroner Jack Raymond said her death was from natural causes. There will be no inquest.

She was found by Hubert Fry, Fairfield, who had gone to her home at 205 E. Adams street to shovel the snow off the sidewalks. He noticed last night's paper was still on the porch and saw no signs of activity about the house.

He borrowed tools from a neighbor to take off the storm door to gain entrance to the house. Mrs. PARSONS was found in bed. The coroner said the last time she was seen was last Sunday.

Last rites will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Weston Behner funeral home with Rev. S.P. Williamson in charge. Burial will be in Wright cemetery southeast of Fairfield.

Addy M. PARSONS, 84, was born October 30, 1867, in Jefferson county. She was the daughter of the late Asa S. and Eliza Ann PHILIPS FRY. She was united in marriage on April 5,1892, to Truman E. PARSONS, who preceded her in death 1944 (sic - 1943).

Mrs. PARSONS had lived her entire life in Cedar township eight miles southeast of Fairfield until three years ago when she moved to town. She was a member of the Ebenezer Christian church and Rebekah Lodge No. 96.

Members of the lodge will conduct a short memorial service at the funeral home Thursday at the close of the regular funeral rites.

Mrs. PARSONS was the last of her family. She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Asa and Oren; and two daughters, Leona and May.
