E. WILLIAMS rites Tuesday

Services will be Tuesday for Sylvia E. WILLIAMS, 72, Route 2, who died at 11:50 p.m. Saturday at the Jefferson County Hospital. She had been admitted two days previously.

Services 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Hepker officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. this evening at the Funeral Home.

Mrs. Williams lived most of her life in the Fairfield Community and was a former employee of the Universal Producing Co. She was a member of the Eastend Assembly of God Church in Ottumwa.

Sylvia E. Williams was born March 30, 1912, in Ottumwa. She was the daughter of Owen and Maude HOBBS WILLIAMS. She married Paul WILLIAMS July 1, 1930, in Fairfield. He survives.

She is also survived by seven sons: Marion, Keith, James and Stephen, all of Fairfield; Jack, Drakesville; Edwin and Will both of Fort Madison; also four daughters, Aletha SCHWANTES, Birmingham; Opal ELAND and Paula COOK both of Mount Pleasant; and Mabel RUIZ, Wilton.

Other survivors are 39 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, two brothers, James WILLIAMS and Virgil WILLIAMS; and a sister, Helen WARNER, all of Ottumwa. She was preceded in death by her parents.
