Velma Marie WILLIAMS

Velma Marie WILLIAMS, 57, of 501 W. Jefferson Ave., died at 10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, 2000, at Jefferson County Hospital.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Aaron Coolin and Keevin Koch officiating. Burial will follow at 4 p.m. in Cedar Rapids. Family visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials have been established.

Ms. Williams was born Jan. 2, 1943, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Thomas and Bethene CANTERBURY WILLIAMS.

She was a receptionist at USA Global Link.

Survivors include one daughter, Tracey DOOLIN of Marengo; three sons, Thomas WILLIAMS, Daryl and Daryn PIGMAN, all of Cedar Rapids; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Hazel WHITMORE of Clayton, Calif.; and three brothers, David WILLIAMS of San Clemente, Calif., Vaundon WILLIAMS of Cedar Rapids and Russell WILLIAMS, address not available.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson; and one sister, Norma.
