ROACH Rites Tuesday

Lawrence J. ROACH, 75, 302 W. Monroe, died at 4:20 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6 at Jefferson County Hospital.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. William J. Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Clay Cemetery east of Richland. Prayers for a Christian Wake will be 7 tonight at Behner Funeral Home.

ROACH was born March 5, 1912 in Van Buren County, the son of John and Caroline GLANZMAN ROACH. He married Frances PRINGLE Oct. 8, 1938 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fairfield. He worked at Dexter Company for 40 years, retiring in 1978. He lived his life in Van Buren and Jefferson counties and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Surviving are his wife; a son, Larry of Phoenix, Ariz.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Maurice and a sister Sophia DOUGLAS, both of Fairfield. His Parents, a brother and two infant sisters preceded him in death.
