Services for Elizabeth E. "Peggy" WEAVER, 72, 207 N. Second St., who died Monday evening at Jefferson County Hospital, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. David Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. A memorial has been established to Antioch Church. Friends may call at their convenience.
Mrs. Weaver was born Dec. 16, 1911 near Ottumwa, the daughter of Willis and Pearl RAMSEY WALKER. She grew up in Van Buren County, graduating from Birmingham High School. She attended the Iowa Success School at Ottumwa. She lived her life in Van Buren County and the Fairfield community except for 10 years she spent in Denver, Colo. On Oct. 25, 1930 at Kahoka, Mo., she married Wayne L. WEAVER, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Kenneth of Wellman, and two granddaughters. Her parents and a brother preceded her in death.
Mrs. Weaver attended Antioch Church, where she taught Sunday school. She was a past member of the Antioch Ladies Aid Society.
