Roxie L. BISHOP, 75 of Glasgow and Clinton, Ill., died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at the Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant.
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the Murphy Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant with the Rev. Aaron Helterbran officiating. Burial will be in the Glasgow Cemetery in rural Lockridge.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the Murphy Funeral Home, family will be present from 5-7 p.m. A memorial has been established to the Glasgow Cemetery in his memory.

Mr. BISHOP was born June 17, 1937, on the family farm at Glasgow, the son of Charles and Opal Louise BOWER BISHOP. He married Jean C. BARNES Jan. 19, 2012 in Clinton, Ill.
He graduated from Fairfield High School and attended Iowa Wesleyan College in Mount Pleasant. He graduated from the University of Missouri.
He retired from Millwright in Bloomington, Ill.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He was a member of the Eagles Aerie 593 of Clinton, Ill., and the Elks Lodge in Fairfield.
Survivors include his wife Jean and three daughters: Patti HINTHORN and spouse Todd, Paula EDWARDS and spouse Joe, and Penny LONG and spouse Dale, all of Clinton, Ill.; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
