KANN Rites Saturday

Mrs. Fred KANN, 85, 204 E. Broadway, died Thursday at 12:55 p.m. at the Jefferson County Hospital where she had been a patient since Aug. 13.

Last rites will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Bartruff and the Rev. Wade Dillavou officiating. Interment will be in Friends Cemetery at Pleasant Plain.

Ethel Mae KANN was born Feb. 22, 1888, in Washington County. She was the daughter of William and Ann STRAIN FISHBURN. She was reared and educated in Winfield.

Her marriage to Fred KANN took place Dec. 31, 1918, in Fairfield. He died Oct. 2, 1970.

Mrs. KANN was a member of the United Methodist Church, Women's Club, and D.A.R.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. B. B. BENTZINGER, Fountain Valley, Calif.; and two brothers, Orville FISHBURN, Long Beach, Calif., and Marion FISHBURN, Farmington. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
