Virginia WEAVER

Virginia Kay WEAVER, 50, of Buckeye, Ariz., formerly of Fairfield, died Saturday evening, July 20, 2002, in an automobile accident near Goodyear, Ariz.

The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Ellerd officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield.

Family visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to the donor's choice.

Ms. WEAVER was born Jan. 23, 1952, in Fairfield, the daughter of Charles Frederick and Helen Opal GIBERSON WEAVER. She attended Fairfield community schools and graduated from Capri Cosmetology School in Fairfield. She lived in Jefferson County, and previously in Washington County, for 15 years.

She was secretary to the personnel manager at the Wal-Mart distribution center in Buckeye, Ariz.

Survivors include her mother; two sons, Jason ESSARY and his wife Amy of Washington and Michael ESSARY and his fiancee Shelly YOUNG of Goodyear, Ariz.; 12 siblings, Melvena SHONDEL, Howard GARRISON and his wife Kathy, Alvin GARRISON and his wife Linda, Deanna COOKSEY and her husband Randy, Patricia HECKETHORN and Richard WEAVER, all of Fairfield, and Floyd GARRISON and his wife Eva of Bremerton, Wash., Helen WILKINSON and her husband Gary of Sigourney, T. June WILD and her husband Arthur of Essexville, Mich., Charlotte POTTS and her husband Richard of Virginia Beach, Va., Roxanne McDOLE and her husband Dennis of Avondale, Ariz., and Janet GARREN of Decatur, Ill.; and two grandchildren, Haley Jo and Dagen Lee ESSARY.

She was preceded in death by her father; one sister, Merna WHITAKER; two brothers, Kenneth and Robert WEAVER; and one niece, Mandy Lee ARDUSER.
