Glenn GRAF died in California

Glenn L. GRAF Sr., 69, Kelseyville, Calif., died Wednesday at David Grant Air Force Hospital, Fairfield, Calif.

He was born April 2, 1918, in Lockridge, the son of Charles and Margaret POHREN GRAF. On July 12, 1947, he married Margaret TESCHENDORF.

A 1936 graduate of Lockridge High School, he received his bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Iowa Wesleyan College in 1943.

GRAF was a veteran of World War II and served in Korea. He retired from the U.S. Marine Corps in 1963 and from U.S. Civil Services in 1978.

He was a member of the Galilee Lutheran Church in Kelseyville, the Lions club, Moose Lodge, Shriners and Elks Club, all in California and the Masonic Lodge in Fairfield.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Glenn L. Jr., Mount Pleasant, and James, Albuquerque, N.M.; two grandchildren; two brothers, Lester and Roy, both of Lockridge; three sisters, Edith DIERS and Mildred HILL, both of Wayland, and Marie VORHIES, Mount Pleasant; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Harlan and one son, John.

Masonic memorial services were held Friday in Clear Lake, Calif. Funeral services will be held Monday in Albuquerque, N.M. with burial in the Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe.

Memorials have been established for the Galilee Lutheran Church, the American Cancer Society and the Shriners Crippled Children's Fund.
