Miss FRITZ dies at 97

BRIGHTON - Emma J. FRITZ, 97, died Thursday at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in East Pleasant Plain with the Rev. William Sullivan officiating. A rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Gould Funeral Home in Brighton.

Miss FRITZ was born Mar. 31, 1885, in Walnut Township in Jefferson County, the daughter of Peter and Angela OSWEILLER FRITZ. She lived her entire life in the Brighton and Pleasant Plain communities before moving to Parkview in November of 1977.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the altar and rosary society in East Pleasant Plain. She is survived only by nieces and nephews. Gould funeral home in Brighton is in charge of arrangements.
