Mrs. MANNING Taken In Death

BATAVIA - Mrs. Ethel Manning, 94, died at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield at 7:45 p.m. Thursday after an illness of seven years.

Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Campbell Funeral Chapel in Batavia with Rev. Wayne Bartruff in charge. Burial will be in Brethren Cemetery north of Libertyville.

Born Aug. 23, 1882, Mrs. MANNING was the daughter of Park and Naomi JORDAN CAMPBELL. She was a lifetime resident of this county.

She was a member of the Church of the Brethren near Libertyville.

She was married to Joseph MANNING on Feb. 24, 1904. He died in 1961. Also preceding her in death were a daughter, a son, and two grandchildren.

Surviving are a daughter, Freda MANNINNG of Fairfield; two sons, Melvin of Des Moines, and Warren of Libertyville; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
