FOREMAN services

BATAVIA - Services for Charles W. FOREMAN, 45, Route 2, Batavia were held at 10:30 a.m. today at the Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Kermit Black and the Rev. James Battey officiating. Burial will be in Batavia Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Cancer Research.

Charles FOREMAN died at 5:46 p.m. Friday at University Hospitals in Iowa City after an illness of several months.

He was born Dec. 15, 1939, in Jefferson County, the son of Earl and Helen Francis FOREMAN. His marriage to E. Ruth BERNDT took place Sept. 27, 1964, in Batavia. She survives.

Foreman was a lifetime resident of the Batavia community. He had worked 23 years at the Rockwell International Corporation and was a member of the Rockwell Credit Union Board.

He also farmed and was a member of the Poeples Church of Batavia.

In addition to his widow, FOREMAN is survived by a son, Heath Edward FOREMAN, Batavia; a brother, Kenneth FOREMAN, Batavia. He was preceded in death by a brother.
