January 14, 1982Grave rites for PRINGLE
Clarence PRINGLE, 88, 302 W. Monroe, died suddenly at 8:55 p.m. Wednesday at the Parkview Care Center.
Graveside rites will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Clay Cemetery east of Richland. The Rev. Charles Kincaid will officiate. The Behner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Clarence PRINGLE was born May 30, 1893, in Keokuk County. He was the son of Charles and Lulu LAPE PRINGLE.
He was married April 12, 1913, to Winifred RAMBO at Fairfield. She died Nov. 16, 1950.
Pringle farmed in Wisconsin and Iowa before his retirement. He has been a resident of Fairfield for the past 28 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Frances ROACH, Fairfield, and Phyllis BOWEN, Des Moines; one son, Charles, Fairfield; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alta SMITH, Tomak (sic - Tomah?), Wisc.
Pringle was preceded in death by one brother, one sister and a granddaughter.

Due to weather conditions funeral services for Clarence PRINBLE will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Behner Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles Kincaid will officiate.
Burial will be in Clay Cemetery at a later date.
Previously it was announced graveside services would be held at Clay Cemetery Saturday morning. These plans have been changed.
PRINGLE died Wednesday at the Parkview Care Center.
(Clarence's daughter Phyllis, was married to Melvin "Bill" MECK, my uncle.)
