Sharon Kay FITZWATER

Sharon Kay FITZWATER, 65, of Fairfield, died at home Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012.

No service is scheduled at this time, according to her desire.

In lieu of flowers, cards and memorials may be sent to Paula JOHNSTON at 5401 W. 134th St., No. 1028, Overland Park, Kan. 66209.

Mrs. FITZWATER was born March 13, 1947, in Fairfield the daughter of Robert Andrew and Edna Mae WATSON LEE. She married Donald Ray FITZWATER Oct. 26, 1963, in Fairfield. He died April 18, 1986.

She had been a plant manager at Traffix Devices in Fairfield, for 18 years.

Survivors include three daughters, Donéta MOORE of Fairfield, Paula JOHNSTON of Overland Park, Kan. and Jody KUHLMAN of Mitchellville; seven grandchildren and three siblings, Cindy WILLIAMS of Packwood, Diana BOUGHNER of Fairfield and Robert LEE of Cedar Rapids.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, and one son, Ronald FITZWATER.

Sharon Kay FITZWATER

Friends of Sharon Kay FITZWATER, 65 of Fairfield, who died Aug. 1, 2012, are hosting a memorial and potluck at 11 a.m. Sunday in Chautauqua Park.

Attendees are asked to bring a covered dish to share and a lawn chair.

In case of rain, the potluck will move to Fairfield's VFW.
