E. BLOUGH Dies at 77

LIBERTYVILLE - E. Everett "Pete" BLOUGH, 77, Route 1, Libertyville, died at 9:40 p.m. Sunday at the Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield where he had been a patient since Feb. 23.

Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Bartruff officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

BLOUGH was a former county employe with 45 years of service. He was honored at a retirement party held for him in December 1968.

He started working for the county in 1923 with the bridge gang. In 1924 he joined the maintenance crew and in 1948 he was named shop foreman, a position he held until his retirement.

E. Everett BLOUGH was born April 8, 1900, in Jefferson County, the son of C. David and Nellie B. CRANE BLOUGH. He lived his entire life in Jefferson County.

He was married June 24, 1931, to Marie ZEILMAN at the Christian Parsonage in Fairfield. He was a 50-year member of Clinton Lodge No. 15, A.F. & A.M. and attended the Methodist Church.

In addition to his widow he is survived by the following; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia BRIGGS, Libertyville, and Mrs. Doris EKLUND, Libertyville; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
