Opal ROBERTSON rites Thursday

Opal ROBERTSON, 86, former resident of Libertyville, died at 9 p.m. Monday at the Parkview Care Center where she had been a resident since July 19. The family home is at 607 W. Monroe.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Fell Cemetery near Libertyville with the Rev. Robert L. Conner officiating. Raymond Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Opal ROBERTSON was born May 13, 1896, the daughter of Edward and Liza Ann COURTNEY BROBSTON. She lived and was employed in Chicago a number of years as a cosmotologist, moving to Libertyville in 1937.

She was married May 7, 1940, to Paul F. ROBERTSON in Libertyville. He died Feb. 25, 1980.

Survivors include a sister, Zella BEIBER, Fairfield, and a number of nieces and nephews.
