HARR Rites Saturday

Mrs. Kathryn HARR, 87, former resident of Fairfield, died at 6:35 a.m. Wednesday at Forsyth, Mo.

Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Bartruff officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Members of the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday evening.

Kathryn HARR was born April 9, 1889, in Olive Hill, Ky., the daughter of Emmett H. and Mary VINCENT DEMPSEY. She was married to Frank HARR April 9, 1911, at Parsons, Kansas. He died in 1934.

She had lived in Fort Madison until ten years ago when she moved to Forsyth. Mrs. HARR was a 50-year member of Progress Chapter OES No. 49 at Parsons, Kansas.

Survivors include a daughter, LaVaun HARR, Forsyth; one son, Frank HARR, Willow Springs, Mo.; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Julia STANSBERRY, Fairfield, and Mrs. Lucile OATS, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and two brothers, Karl DEMPSEY, Fort Madison, and Tom DEMPSEY, Patterson, Calif.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
