D. EMANUEL Rites Set

Donald E. EMANUEL, 55, died early Sunday morning at his home, 409 W. Merrill.

Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church with the Rev. Ed Dorman officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Donald E. EMANUEL was born April 17, 1921, in Ottumwa, the son of Edd and Katie STEELE EMANUEL. He was reared and educated in Fairfield. His marriage to Dorothy HARWOOD took place April 18, 1942.

EMANUEL was employed at the Louden Machinery Co., now Crane and Monorail Systems Division of Acco, for over 37 years. He was a member of the First Christian Church and a veteran of World War II.

In addition to his widow EMANUEL is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Marlene Jo JOHNSON, Champaign, Ill.; one grandson; one brother, Eugene, Sierra Vista, Arizona; and a sister, Mrs. Lloyd WHITE, Ottumwa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother.

Members of the family will receive friends at the Raymond Funeral Home from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. tonight, Monday.

The casket will be taken from the funeral home to the church at noon Tuesday.
