Francis A. 'Fay' WEBER

Francis A. "Fay" WEBER, 73 of Douds, died Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Hospice in Ottumwa.

A private graveside service is planned at Mount Moriah Cemetery, with the Rev. Jerry Caughron officiating.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Ottumwa. Cards and memorials may be sent to Shirley Weber at 11612 Rt. V64, Douds 52551.

Mr. WEBER was born July 12, 1939 in Webster, the son of Edward and Myrtle SNAKENBURG WEBER. He married Shirley LOOMIS June 17, 1961 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Fairfield.

He retired from Iowa Telecom as a line crew supervisor after 30 years.

He enjoyed camping, woodworking and spending time with his friends and family.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley; three children, Michael WEBER and spouse Jackie, Michelle WEBER all of Brighton and Marlene HARBISON and spouse Jim of Fairfield; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one brother, James WEBER of Phoenix, Ariz.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Lucille ZACHMEYER.
