Doyle RUPE, 87, of Eldon, died at 2:20 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at Hospice House in Ottumwa.
Arrangements are pending at Grace Funeral Care in Eldon.

W. Doyle RUPE's services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 30th, 2012, at Grace Funeral Care in Eldon. Burial was in Fiedler Cemetery near Eldon.
Born December 16, 1924, in Floris, IA. Parents were Gilbert W. and Velma BENGE RUPE. On January 9, 1945, in Lancaster, MO, he married Willa BATTERSON, and she died in March 1995.
He leaves four sons: Jim (Linda) of Ottumwa, Steve of Eldon, Martin (Cindy) of Bladensburg, and Melvin of Ottumwa; two daughters: Barb (Doug) BLACK of Ottumwa, and Becky (Bill) JOBE of Rapid City, IL; three sisters, Elaine BARKER, Alma (Larry) BARKER, and Doris BLACKWELL; one brother, Gary (Waneta) RUPE; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceded by his parents, two brothers: Theodore RUPE and Don FRANCIS; and a sister, LaVonne GUSTAFSON.
