She was born Feb. 23, 1899 in Van Buren County near Birmingham to James and Maggie HALL McBRIDE. She lived in Troy the past 40 years and formerly lived in Batavia and Agency. She was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Bloomfield.
She married Frank KLICKER in 1918. He died in 1975.
Survivors include three daughters, Mavern SWAIM of Batavia, Evelyn ARMSTRONG of Bloomfield, and Mildred SWAIM of Geneseo, Ill; two sons, Karl of Bloomfield and Laurence of Troy; 15 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; a great-great granddaughter; and a sister, Wilda VANDELLO at Ottumwa.
Funeral services were held today at the Campbell Funeral Home in Eldon, conducted by the Rev. Fred Schauer. Burial was in the Batavia Cemetery.
A memorial has been established to the cancer fund.
(I actively research the McBRIDE lineage.)
