Florence SPOHN

Florence E. SPOHN, 105, 400 Highland St., died at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, 1994, at Jefferson County Hospital.

The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Royar officiating. Burial will be in Friends Cemetery at Richland. Visitation will be Friday morning until time of service. Memorials have been established to First United Methodist Church and Fairfield Women's Club.

Mrs. SPOHN was born June 27, 1889, Richland, the daughter of Jacob and Mary Sue PAXSON JONES. She married Daniel Everett SPOHN on Sept. 14, 1918. He died Oct. 27, 1970. She had been a milliner in Wayland and Brighton for 14 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Richland Friends Church, Birth Right Membership at Richland, Fairfield Women's Club, American Legion Auxiliary at Kankakee, Ill., and a 50-year member of Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving is a brother, Herbert JONES of Washington, Iowa. A brother, Harold, and a sister, Francis, preceded her in death.
