Lorraine E. GOODWIN RIFFLE, 88, formerly of Albia, IA and Fairfield, IA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.
In agreement with her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services held. A private burial of the urn will take place in Albia.
Lorraine was born on May 9, 1924 in Waterloo, Iowa. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived and lovingly remembered by one daughter, Johneta GOODWIN of FL; son-in-law, Bob WILLETT of Grimes; one grandson, Todd GOODWIN of ME; and two great-grandchildren.
Lorraine was preceded into eternal life by her parents, Bert and Ida (CASSIDY) ARNOLD; first and second husbands, John GOODWIN of Albia, and Eugene RIFFLE of Fairfield; and one daughter, Janet WILLETT.
The family has respectfully requested that any memorial contributions be made in Lorraine's name to Mercy Hospice - 5820 Winwood Drive; Johnston, IA 50131.
