Ronald Dean FERGUSON

Ronald Dean FERGUSON, 56, of Westminster, Calif., died of cancer at 12:35 p.m. Monday afternoon, Jan. 13, 2003, at his home.

The body was cremated. A graveside service will be held at a later date.

Behner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. FERGUSON was born Oct. 23, 1946, in Fairfield, the son of Edwin II and Mildred HISEL FERGUSON. He married Heather ZOLLARS June 27, 1965, in Lebanon, Iowa. They later divorced. He married Edith GRAY Feb. 29, 1988, in Las Vegas, Nev.

He graduated from Van Buren High School in Keosauqua and from Long Beach State College in Long Beach, Calif.

He worked for Sunset Auto Parts 1965 until he purchased Sunset Auto Parts 2. He owned and operated the store in Westminister from 1966 until he closed in 1997. He then worked at Kragen Auto Parts in Westminster until his illness forced him to retire June 6, 2002.

Survivors include wife; one son, Derek FERGUSON of Westminister; one daughter, Tanja GRAY BOTHWELL of Westminster; three granddaughters; one step-grandon; and his mother of Keosauqua.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
