"Mrs. Gertrude Minster, wife of Garrett S. Minster, died this morning at 8 o’clock at her home 5 ½ miles north of town, in Black Hawk township…..Services at McDowell Chapel; interment in McDowell Cemetery....."

"Mrs. Minster…..died Wed. of dropsy; dau. of W. W. & Mary A. Wiggins, born in Jefferson County, Iowa, Jan 24 1874. Survived by her mother who lives at Woolson; two brothers and two sisters: Bert Wiggins of Redwood Falls, Minn.; Fred Wiggins of Pleasant Plain; Mrs. Fannie Jones of Brighton; and Mrs Nellie Eck of Woolson. Married Dec 23 1896; to them one son Frank who has preceded his mother in death…..Pleasant Grove Church."
