"David K. Minter, an old citizen of this county, died at this home in Penn township Sunday evening, Dec. 9 1888…..Well known to many of our people."

(Note: See Upper Richwoods Cemetery for David K. Minter’s second wife. Her first husband was William K. Coats. She had one son by second marriage, Owen K. Minter who, in 1895, lived in Dakota City, Nebr.)
