JUSTIN DRENNER McCRACKEN
Justin Drenner McCRACKEN, son of Ensol (sic - Enos C.) and Sidney McCRACKEN, was born October 1, 1877, and passed away at his home where he had spent his entire life. His sudden death was a shock to the family and community, as he was ill just a few hours.
Mr. McCRACKEN had a large circle of friends and his influence was far reaching. He cared for his aged parents and after their death his sister and husband made their home with him. He took a great interest in McDowell Chapel and aided in its support. His father, mother and two sisters, Mary and Julia, preceded him in death.
Surviving him are his sister Mrs. James GINKINS, one niece and three nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 from the Allen Funeral Home at Richland. Rev. Wines of the Friends church conducted the services. Luther McCRACKEN and Victorine McCRACKEN sang two numbers. The pallbearers were Mr. Wallirich, Oliver Rice, Jud Leech, Lon Humphrey, Ralph Bray and Joe Jauzech. Burlial (sic) was at the McDowell Chapel.
