Word has been received here of the death of Glenn E. McCOY, 72, who died Jan. 21 at Tustin, Calif.
McCOY was a graduate from Parsons College and taught in the Fairfield Public schools after which he served as county superintendent in other communities. He served as Grundy County superintendent from 1960 to August 1974.
Burial took place in Fairhaven Memorial Park at Santa Ana, Calif.
McCOY had been ill for four days following a heart attack prior to his death.
He is survived by his wife, Averyle, also one daughter, Mrs. Randy WICKEY, Tustin; and two grandchildren.
