Rites For Mrs. DuBOIS

Mrs. Bernice HUMPHREYS DuBOIS, 81, 402 W. Broadway, died suddenly Wednesday at 7:13 p.m. at the Jefferson County Hospital. She had been a patient only a short time.

Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. George W. Koch officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. DuBOIS was born June 23, 1892 in Fairfield, the daughter of Marvin B. and Minnie M. GLEASON HUMPHREYS. On April 20, 1910, she was married to John H. DuBOIS. He died June 21, 1945 (sic - July 22, 1945). She had lived her entire life in this community and was a member of the First Christian Church.

Mrs. DuBOIS is survived by one son, Donald D. DuBOIS, Route 4, Fairfield, one granddaughter, one sister, Mrs. Mabel PEQUIGNOT of Fairfield.

She was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
